Activities to date:

15 April 2003	Finding the Fuel Cell Niche for South Africa seminar, held at CSIR.
10 Nov 2003	National Fuel Cell Strategy Workshop held at CSIR. National Fuel Cell Strategy Working Group elected and tasked with developing a national strategy.
1 April 2004	Baseline study commissioned by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).
23 June 2004	SAFCI accepted as the name for the national strategy working group.
30 June 2004	Initial draft Baseline Study report submitted to DST.
7 October 2004	Final draft Baseline Study report submitted to DST.
24 May 2005	The South African Hydrogen Economy and Fuel Cells Indaba to be held in Pretoria, hosted by DST.
